Another great set at the rail yard. I especially like the bridge with the track leading the eye straight down the middle.

Nice series. I really like #2. In #1 were you trying to hide something on the left side of the tracks with that framing?

Thanks. No I was standing in the doorway of the kaboose. what you see is the outside railing.

What do you not like about #3? I see that you're trying to direct attention to the chain, but my brain keeps trying to focus the area above it.

that is what I figure you were going to say. After reading your post I went back and looked at it again. I too was drawn to the OOF coupling. I think the only way it would work is with a much shallower DOF, in which case I would probably have to use a longer lens. Or I could just use a who cares AV and eliminate the DOF all together.
