Gave me some great flashbacks to the MN Winter Carnival when I used to live up there. The snow scultures are amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Visited the fairgrounds this afternoon taking similar pics. That treehouse was absolutely incredible. Then again, I was pretty impressed by the covered wagon, too. But I think it was the rocketman that actually took first place in the contest.

These are amazing! The way winter is going in the upper Midwest, they'll be perfect foreground elements for 4th of July fireworks!

This was my first time seeing them, I was really impressed. Next year I need to remember to go the day before too so I can see how they build them.

My only disappointment was I didn't know about Rice Park and the ice sculpturing going on there. :(

Thats a bummer, for some reason I thought that was this next weekend. Looks like I missed it too. :(
Did they even build an ice castle this year?
