I would like to purchase a new compact flash card to be able to take Raw pictues. SanDisk Ultra II has a transfer rate of 9 mb/sec where the Lexar with WA technology is 40X write speed. Will the 10D camera recognize the WA technogoly or should I stick with the Ultra II card.

Secondly I want to take pictures of newspaper headlines of the recent hurricane activity in Florida. I want to print and frame (12x22) the headline with pictures at different angles. The head of my trypod can be inverted and mounted underneath for taking the picture. My question is, should I use a piece of glass to hold the newspaper down flat or some other method. Can any one provide suggestions on how this should be done? :)

Canon cameras do not utilize the WA technology. Refer to:

I use the 40X WA cards-512MB. They work fine. I get 83 raw+small jpegs on them.
