This is an image of a Araneus Diadematus - orb-weaver spider, shot in Aurora, Oregon assembled with a flower shot at the Painted Hills, in Central Oregon.
The effect is created by running the Fractalius plug-in on both the flower and the spider. The spider was then duplicated and mirrored.
