I started shooting 1:1 life size at f/11 instead of f/14 which is getting me sharper shots..aint he cute :D

That is a SHARP shot! I agree with the title. I love the shot, but do NOT think he is cute ;) Very nice shot. So F11 over 14? what lens? mpe 65 or 100 (assuming one of these two.)

mpe-65..no doubt f14 even f16 at 1:1 u can get sharp shots..i didnt like how it was giving me jet black backgrounds..in this shot i have bit of green in background..if i had subject that needed alot more dof i would of gone to f/14 or 16 if needed..but i leave it on f/11 now and shoot 1:1,2:1 and 3:1 at f11..then 4:1 and 5:1 f/8

they are light sensors,light and dark sensor,so they know if its night or day

wooo fstop 11 at 1:1 is the new fstop 14..hey bill.my orhid female is about to shed to adult..:)i bet your male is dead now right..they dont last long them orhid males.few months at most.

Lovely shots MJ just prefer #1 out of the first 2 shots and #3 is pretty cute and a lovely composition.

i done what u said..backdrop and f/11..u can see the bottom shot i have colour background with out having to cut them out and layering them..seems to work alot better..

hell MJ he's been gone for two weeks now. came home from work and there he was on the bottom. gave him a very good send off. royal flush :D:D:D.

Well bless my sole,just checked out your site and didn't realize this was possible,bravo.Don't know if they exist in the wilde in the UK?but down here in France they're common in the Summer,i'll post a shot or two when they appear.
