1.5 - Where is the 'admin' page?

Yeow....I'm about to go nuts. How do you admin 1.5? I've looked at the folder structure and can't figure it out. Is there a FAQ or online manual that details installation and admin chores?

It is the default folder under your gallery that you are instructed to rename. Originally it is called input.

So to go to you admin page assume you web site is www.YourWeb.com and that the gallery directory is directly off your default file location.

www.YourWeb.com/gallery/input

and your admin page will come up.

when I browse to the input folder I get a login. This login doesn't accept my database login and password. Is there a php page that I need to enter a separate EE login and password? Connect.php seems to be OK as I can access my galleries...

have a look at your address bar, does it have the following in the line after you have tried the default username and password?

reverted_to_english_because_language_english_is_no t_available&exhibition=6&lang=eng

If so, I had the same problem, first thing to do if it is there, is press refresh, it will probably let you in then.

Secondly, delete all your cookies, referring to your website and try to login in again.

This worked for me.

So, where did you get this information? I've been looking for a FAQ or online manual for EE and can't find any information about installation or administration of 1.5. I've used EE 1.22 for a couple of years....THANKS!!

Both the admin username and password can be changed. Log into the admin portal using the default username and password. On the left hand side under Settings click on the lick that says misc settings and then scroll down the page about 1/2 way to the section that says Editor Settings where you will find an option to change the username, and password.

I swear I passed by this option six times, and even pm'd Pekka before I noticed it :D

I know I looked at that page for change password but never saw it.
