Overall the images appear to be rather soft; in the faces especially.

Well, I think they are performers but I am famous now for wanting to include everything in Performing Arts ... and Richard is right, it certainly fits in Sports. Photographically, the first image is significantly back focused ... the letters on the back board are in focus rather than the girls. In general you have parts of people, cut off down the middle or elbows sticking into the pictures which really isn't very appealing.

Focus on the eyes right? I keep forgetting that. :(LOL, I can see how that might be easy to forget in a case like this.

Is there a mix of a couple of venues here? I see some who would seem like they orient their training towards "fitness" and others who seem to orient their training towards "bodybuilding". Was this an open competition so to speak or do you have pictures from two different types of competitions mixed together here? Also, I can't help but wonder if the two women you have in the same photo are twins or sisters.

It was a figure competition, but some had larger figures that others, (if you know what I mean) and the two girls are friends... I guess they just happen to look alike. I'll post some up of the guys.. those pics are unreal.
