20D battary life

hello

there are a few of you guys out there now with the 20D, how do you find the battory life on them. bowth with the grip and with out.

im not getting the grip for mine when i get it and was wondering if i had to get another batt to get a full day of shooting.

My battery has been great - I have taken 973 photos so far with a mix of flash and non-flash and the battery is still going!

is that with the grip useing 2 batterys?? or just useing the single batt in the body

will the USM lenses use more power???

That's without a grip - and from what I have heard the USM does use some battery life, though I have no idea how much. I doubt it will be that noticeable.
