[macro] My first macro

This is my first macro with 300D.

I have used: 90-300mm f/5.6

Any comments would be appreciate

That looks great - well done for a first macro!

My only fault with it would be the point of focus - I would expect to see it more on the wing nearest the camera and the body, instead of the body and the other wing. Apart from that though I really like it.

personally, i'd prefer the sharpest focus to be on the insect's eye nearest the camera. with the narrow depth of field of most macro shots, having a wing in focus would mean an out-of-focus face. for me, that doesn't work well.
