Hi folks, once in a while I pop in here to see amazing bird pictures even though I am not a birder. They have given me inspirations and motivations though lacking in skills and equipment. I especially like those bird in flights images. Anyway here is my 1st post here with my first attempt of a bird of prey in flight series. Albeit it's a trained bird nevertheless I appreciate how difficult it was to track and capture them in mid flight. I was in servo mode, my 1st in tracking such a quick and dynamic creature. Do enjoy, C&C most welcome.

Great series and excellent job on the in flight shots. The first shot in the second post is my favourite with the excellent feather detail and back lighting. It also shows just how much they can rotate their heads...he looks like his head is on backwards :)

Thanks, that's my favorite too.It seems they can turn on a dime and snap back 180 degrees effortlessly. Nothing needed on that shot, boy I love my 70-200 F4IS,imagine if it was your 400 /5.6 L.

Very well done. Like the other poster, that 1st shot in the 2nd set is a stunner. You can consider yourself a bird photographer now :)

Bird Photgrapher, yes!:) Bird Identifier, no :o
I think that's the South East Asian Sea Eagle. Any experts?
