yep, im sure it is hard to get a good shot, most animals wont stay still long for that!

Nice shots indeed. I can't seem to get my cat to open its eyes when i get close to shoot. Although funny enough right before i opened this thread, i was taking a few shots of my cats toes, eyes and nose. That nose shot you took is great.
I thought i would add a few shots if you dont mind. IF you do let me know and i will remove them.

These are pretty cool. I use catnip on occasion... she likes it and it keeps her in one place for me to snap shots. Beats chasing her around. LOL

Great shots of the pets. I am glad that not everyone raises mantids as pets to photograph! (nothing wrong with that MJ, just saying that if everyone did it that it would get old.)

I really like the eyes!
