Created these at my editor's request. It was tricky work trying to get the shot off during the 1/15 exposure and not every round had enough flash. On the image where you can clearly see my face I made use of a downrange light for a little fill. The editor was very happy.........Untill his next request!

Wow, those are awesome. I just wish there was more fill light.
What's the gun and what load are you shooting?

I wonder if muzzle flash would be enough to set off a slaved strobe for fill light. Were these set off with remotes or the timed shutter release function?

I did not think of a light triggered slaved flash fill, but I will now thank you.
Timed shutter release.
I have a sound activated switch but did not bring it with me that day.
My intent was not to highlight or feature the shooter (me) beyond
what was presented. But, had I your forethought I would have other images to choose from.
40 S&W Glock with muzzle brake and barrel porting. PMC 165 grain FMJ's
Thank you.

Perhaps a snooted light to highlight just the gun and hands.
