Searched but couldn't find anything.

I'm going on a trip soon and will be shooting in RAW, family at my destination wants me to leave copies of photos there. Was thinking of trying RAW + jpeg, and leaving the latter with them. Is there any difference in the RAW files between the two settings? Or should I just convert the RAW files to jpeg?

I shoot raw + jpeg occasionally and I have never noticed any difference in the raw files.

I think you are better off shooting RAW+small jpeg (or large jpeg depending on your CF capacity) simply because the camera could do some quick sharpening, contrast adjustment, small noise reduction when processing the jpeg. You'll have to find a computer if you do all that by yourself.

Raw +small. Your family won't want to resize everything.
