Any thoughts on this flash?

I have one, and it is ok but not great. I found that sometimes it would work perfectly and then others it would just kind of go stupid. I could take three shots back to back to back and sometime it would all be great, then others one would be good, one would be way underexposed and the third would be totally blown out. What camera do you have? The reason I ask is that this did not seem to be an issue when I had an XT, but started when I got an XTi.

I ended up getting a Sigma 500 DG Super and have been really happy with it. I still use the 900 with optical slave off camera in manual but I dont use it on camera any more. It is just too inconsistent for me.

I am assuming that you were going to get the 900WA from Ritz. You can get the Sigma 530DG Super from Amazon for $235 or the 500DG Super for about $210. I would recommend that you look at them instead. Also you can get the Canon 430EX from Penn Camera for $299 (probably can be found for less online)
