On Sunday I had my first paying photo shoot! All of my previous shoots have been at my request to help build my portfolio. And as a result of my portfolio, Melissa requested that I take her picture!

Because of this I want to present her with some really good pictures. These two are my favorites so far. I would appreciate any feedback on how they look or what can be done to make them better.

Thanks for your help.

one thing you could do is open up your aperture more to get a shallow DOF, the background is rather distracting.

I like the pose in #2.

I like the second pose but (isnt there always a but)

a) it could do with some sharpening or more softening, as it is its neither sharp or soft.

b) Though very pretty she has a couple of facial spots that could do with a touch of the cloning tool.

c) Facial lighting is a bit flat

d) needs a narrower depth of field

e) I would crop it a little tighter to get rid of the post in the back left but a bit lower to give4 a little more space where her sleeves finish.

f) I would clone out the leaves growing through the bench
