Not sure this is the best place to post this thread, but I need some help. A photo has been erased from an SD card and I would like to recover the photo if that is possible. Let me know what I should do.

It's possible to recover, as long as (a) the card hasn't been formatted, and (b) no new files have been written to the card.

What kind of card is it? I know that Sandisk provide recovery software for their cards - perhaps other manufacturers do too?

Thanks Damo. Fortunately the card has not been used.It is from sandisk, but I do not have any software with it.

When my sister lost her travel photos from her Sandisk, she purchased and downloaded the recovery software from their website. It cost her a few bucks, but it was money well spent.

RecoverPlus Pro did the job when a friend deleted her video of our motorcycle ride over Mount Lassen.

Then try buying something if it doesn't work. You'll need a card reader.

it's worked great for me on anything from a floppy disk to hard drives.

If your using a Mac :cool: Then I can recommend CardRaider by Ecamm Network.

I had mistakenly erased an SD card which had our family Christmas get-together on, I was able to recover every Photo (even Photos taken during our August Holiday).

As long as you have not overwritten on the Card. I'm 100% sure you can recover the images. Use the Rescue Pro Software which comes with Sandisk and I'm sure that will work.

I tried once and it worked for me.
