The assignment in a class I'm taking is "transparent". Will you let me know what you think of this?
Thanks.

Nice shot and very professional looking, but I dont know if I see "transparent" as being the main theme; I see "lines".
Really nice shot.

I like it, the bending and refraction of the lines really helps define that which is really not seen - the transparency of the glass. I think the lines really help my eye make out the glass shape because of this. If i would recommend any improvements it would be a deeper DOF so that the while glass is in focus. Also, gobo up the shadow on top of the image, looks uneven and not intentionally.

I like the shot but I would like to see both rims sharp. Tough to do without a TS lens tho.
Nice execution, glad you decided to make the top angles less than uniform. I would like to have seen either the liqued a splash of color or perhaps the lines. Done in camera of course. Watch your contrast as well.
Oveall if I were grading it you would get a solid B+

I like it a lot :) It would make a nice poster to put on the wall of a bar.
Personally I would rather see symmetry in the corner of the table and the dark shadows around/behind it. The glass has its own symmetry and the jaunty angle of the black shadows just looks odd to me.
I don't have a problem with the OOF glass egde but it would be worth playing around with focus point and DOF to see if you can improve it further.
I also see a bit of vignetting in the bottom corners. Again I don't have a problem with what's there but you could experiment with more or less vignetting to see if you can enhance the photo any more.
Nice job :)

Thanks for your comments (which I'll take under advisement).

I debated about making the background symmetrical but decided that I liked it better askew.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

You never argue with the client.
