Recommendations for places to shoot- In OC, CA

I'm from orange county and was wondering where i could test out my 40d which should be here tomorrow. I don't really like the whole beach thing so i was thinking more of a nice park with greenery, flowers, maybe ducks and animals.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Have you looked into the county parks?

How about the nature trail in Central Park lots of things to shot on the trail, plus the other side of the park has the lake with lots of Ducks.:lol: There is also the bird park in Irvine off El Toro Road in Lake Forest.
