Anything Smaller w/more zoom than my A710IS

I have been looking for a smaller camera with more zoom preferably 10X> as my A710is is just a hair to big to comfortably carry in my pocket. At fisrt I was considering the TX1 but the ergonomics seem to be a big problem with a lot of people.

I then saw the new SX100 IS but again its a hair bigger then my A710is. The TX1 seems mighty nice but at this point I was wondering how many times does Canon release new camera's a year? Should I wait a month or so before I do anything?

FWIW I'm extremely pleased with the A710is except for its size.

Don't see anything that fits the bill Canon-wise. Possibly one of the Panasonics?

I would really like to stick with Canon , I would possibly go with the TX1 if I could get some real good feedback on it. I saw some great feedback in the Newegg site from new owners of the camera. My drawbacks are that my hands are pritty big and the other is I ride a motorcycle and usually will just reach in my jacket pocket and pull out the 710is and can operate it one handed.

Being that the TX1 has no view finder it would require me to use my other hand to open up the screen to take a photo. Which is not a big deal I guess.....

Bottom line still on the fence on the TX1. I have received some giftcards and coupons from Dell w/ my new PC so I was thinking about getting another camera................
