a couple months i started to bring my camera out clubbing... (i go out to see techno/trance acts all the time anyways, so this just combines a couple of passions of mine)

what is your overall assessment of my photos?
http://WWW.KNG.DM
(shots include: christopher lawrence, dj dan, paolo mojo, darude, ronski speed, deadmau5, thrillseekers, john 00 fleming...)

i think my biggest challenge right now is finding a balance between the fun and colorful long exposures and good well focused details and faces.

i also need to work on my sharpening-for-web, and i need to re-calibrate my monitor.. i think my images are too dark.

and those aren't necessarily my best shots on the site, but shots to share with promoters/djs/friends the morning after.

i'm also really bad at judging myself and which shots are good. i'll post individual photos for critique later.

thanks!

yeah... if u like darude, there is a compilation series you

should check out called "Euro Club Hits" --

it's pretty clear that dance music is coming back around the

world -- just check the recent big American hip-hop and R&B

hits which are clear rip-offs of the european dance

style.....

here's the direct iTunes link to the "Euro Club Hits"

series.....

Great job I would say. What sort of kit do you take with you?
Do you get some funny looks?
Don't the bouncers or owners give you a hassle?

What lens do you use when you're working?

I would like to know this too...I see in one pic it looks like your handing out your business card? Did you get permission to do this prior?
