First: This is a big bag. The outer dimensions are 20x14x10 (approx), inner is 19x12x6. I don't know if this fits for on board luggage

Second: This is a heavy bag. it weighs 9.5 pounds just sitting empty. Even if you could take it on board a plane, half your weight is taken up by the bag.

Third: It holds a lot.

There's also a separate pocket on the outside that I didn't use, it almost fit a 48" 5-in-1 reflector, but I didn't want to push my luck.

That's tons of inserts with industrial strength Velcro (it took off some dry skin near my cuticles) and a separate mini-backpack that can hold a change of clothing. Inside this is a belt that you cna use to put this back around your waist, as near as I can figure. All is apparently waterproof.

So, in short: a huge, heavy bag that holds a lot. I'm using it for storage, I don't think I could walk around with this all day.

Try searching for "AB-1617A" there's now on right now for $1.25

The highest I've seen them go is mid-$40s but most go $20-$25 + shipping

No, shipping was extra and expensive to Canada. I do like it, it seems very rugged and the padding is very generous. It's just too big for walking around. If I go around somewhere this summer, I'd take it in the car and then use some smaller bag to take with me hiking, for example.

For those wondering about other bags in the line, go to www.amvona.com and check things out. Generally whatever price you see, you can get them for less than half on eBay.

They sell a AB-1633, but I haven't seen one in a while on eBay, it's only 5 lbs and just an inch smaller all around
