PS raw in older versions?

Hallo, I just got my 20D yesterday, and I am using PS 6.01. Has anyone tried using the PS raw plugin in a version older than CS? I have installed it already but not had time to try it yet, will report back later.

Also, I have a few more questions. How do you manage files? I have a card reader, so am thinking it might be better to move cards than using the USB to move files to my machine. We have so many USB gadgets that my computer desk is starting to look like Frankenstein's laboratory and I'm wondering what your suggestions might be...

Back when PS 7 was the current revision, Adobe sold the RAW conversion software for $99. You had to upgrade to 7.01 to make it work (free), so I doubt it will work in older versions.
