About the Classifieds...

why is the classifieds section the only one that is not default to sort the posts by "last post"? every other forum is. I can't tell how its being sorted as is but normally a forum is sorted by the time of the last post

It's sorted by newest thread first. Why? Because it's a compromise that was made after much bickering.

It prevents bumping, and makes the mod's job a lot easier.

But I agree; it's a PITA if you make changes to your listing.

hmmm not really, seeing as 99% of all forums are viewed that way, so i think its more then just "my opinion"

The other option is not to be able to post to a thread that is not yours and all posts by the OP must include a meaningful price drop. There was a lot of opposition to that so we settled on this.

I'm ok with click "Last Post" each time to get it the way I want, its all cool :)

I like to see all the recent activity when I go to the forums, usually the Buy & Sell ones. The default view is by Thread Start Time, and you can re-order it manually to Last Post Time, but there's no way to set this as the default.
Can we get an option to set Last Post Time as the default?

I too would like to set it to "Last Post Time" as my default. Since my default wouldn't affect anyone else, why can't this be an option?

Not in the software. You'll just have to click the button.
