These guys must get good tech support too. There are Canon, Nikon and Adorama banners on three of the office trailers in the photogs compound.

CPS is there. If you're a member, they'll do a check-up on your gear gratis - even clean your sensors. I always bring all my stuff to a CPS event even if I'm not gonna use it. Might be too late by now, though.

Aaagogo, I use something similar rubber hood for basketball, this way if a player happens to hit your lens it won't hurt so bad, plus in many BB games it required. The one I use is made by Mamiya the only writing I see on it is,
RB67 & RZ67 it has a 72mm and screws right on the filter ring and collapses down as you see in the pic.

His lens hood is rubber cheap and they save space in bag put your lens cap on and collaps the hood . I shoot most of the time with them there like rubber armor around the front of your lens

Hell yea I'd like to be there shooting for a paying client...any photographer (pro or not) who says otherwise is lying!

Question is who is that? I recognize that mug from somewhere...but not sure where.

Shooting indoors, where you're putting a lens hood on for protection more than for optical reasons, rubber hoods are preferable to the plastic ones, especially if you have to walk around in crowds. They don't get knocked off as easily, don't break if stepped on if they do, and if lost, aren't anywhere NEAR as expensive to replace, yet they still keep nasty things from bumping the front of your lens.

A lot of NBA and NCAA basketball arenas require rubber hoods because they don't want the players injured by the plastic/metal ones plus they don't want their floors marred by photogs putting the lenses front element down on the floor (especially longer lenses like 300's)

WIth the Pats "extra" motivation to prove themselves this game, I predict 42 -17.

With the Pats new logo, I'd expect an even wider margin...

I hear they're going to be running the DeMille Offense this game. :)

Here in NY shoulda seen the pub celebrate - and someone almost get killed for saying "it's all over" just before the pats took the ball in the end! Us Bills area fans know to well not to celebrate to quick!

Congrats Giants and fans! I heard a quote on ESPN this morning. "Seasons are forgotten, but upsets are eternal" . Indeed.
