I've embedded photo's in my posts and what happens is they show sometimes but when they don't, if I go to my gallery where the photo is stored and go to that same picture my embedded photo will show again.
I'll try it here to see.

What's the scoop here?

It was working but I logged off then back on and no photo.
Now if I click on the link to my gallery and open the photo there in another window the embedded photo will appear if I right click and choose show picture.
Weird!:(

Hi Colin,

I don't know the reason but I don't think you can link from pbase.

Hello Don,
Yes, you can link to pbase if you pay to become a supporter of the site, but something doesn't seem to be working right tonight. there is an explanation for how to suuport the site and how to link on the help pages, I think.

BTW, I still visit your site every week or so, and am currently using one of your lotus petal wallpaper shots on my machine. Great work!

Mark

What is there inside me that makes me comment when my knowledge is near the zero mark. (No question mark, it's rhetorical.) I guess it's because I've spent months looking at broken pbase links so I think it can't be done. Thanks for the clarification, Mark.

Thanks very much. And thank you for the opportunity to recommend something...

I've taken close to 30,000 pictures now with my G1 and G2 but I've never taken one to an output center and made a photographic print -- until yesterday. I took in two lotuses, a mantis and a harbor shot in Photoshop format and asked for 8x10s.

These things turned out so beautifully that I recommend anyone who hasn't done it yet (and I may be the only one) should give it a try.

Just make sure that whatever size you order, you specify "full-frame, no cropping" so you don't lose part of your favorite picture. They were US$6 each. I don't know how that compares with the rest of the world, but I thought it was reasonable.

Cheers,

Don
