My last few posts gathered little interest and no comments so I hope people are not bored with my shots. Anyway here are some from last night's game between Missoula and Helena.

No feedback from anyone on these?

Pretty good shots. A little noisy at ISO 1600, but pushing the ISO to get enough light in rinks can do that with the variable lighting. Were you behind glass?

Yes, all shots were from behind the glass which I think contributes to the noisy feeling. All were shot in manual mode, 1/320", 2.8, iso1600, AI Server mode, custom white balance. I have tried shooting at iso 3200 1/400", 2.8 but end up being happier with the images at iso 1600.
Thanks for the feedback! Any other thoughts would be appreciated as I'm trying to improve. I also posted this thread (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=446378) as well as this one (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=446376). I got zero feedback on both so they are either horrible and not worth commenting on or lack the ability to inspire any thoughts. Anything that anyone has, especially you regular hockey shooters on here, would be very appreciated.

All good action and face expression captures. Exposure looks good but grainy. maybe some noise clean up would work? I have had good success with the NR in Lightroom for my images all shot usually at 3200ISO.

3's a good game shot. you can only get that angle from thru the glass. but my thru-glass photos never come out very good - it seems to wash out the contrast and crispness for me, so I shoot from the bench and miss great shots like that.

I really like shooting from a head on angle when possible. The glass definitely takes away from the image quality.

Nice job, shame about the grain and through the glass, I avoid 1600 ISO like the plague!
#5 is pick of the bunch for me, excellent eye contact
Good work!
