Out of curiosity.....

How do you show your appreciation for your clients business? Do you follow a scale of "X" amount of dollars spent ='s type of gift in return?

Joe/Jane order $500 in prints... do you toss in a few extra prints? Reduce a booking fee to bring them back again? Do you send a simple thank you card?

Joe/Jane order over $1000 in prints...

You get where I am going with this. J I'm just curious to know what you all do for your customers when you have substantial orders....just to say thank you.

Whatever you are comfortable with. After I get my $$$$, I give the photos on a CD.

Not in the business myself but getting a % Off voucher for next time sounds like a great incentive.

Thanks for the ideas... just curious about what others do for their clients.

Thanks,

I'd say pay reward them with something they can take advantage now.
They spend $1000 in prints throw in some extra prints (10 or 20 8x10s or whatever you see fit). I think a photo book may be a good idea (not an Asuka album but just a regular photo book). Even if they ordered a fancy album you can include a regular photo book and 10 8x10s that will cost you $80 at most and include a note that says "a gift for your family". Then they can give those to the MOB in case of a wedding for example.
