Folks I shot some fog tonihgt and for the life of me Ihave no idea how this happened, but it did. Please give me your thoughts. Check out how the colors seem to spin within the fog.

Any ideas out their. I call it fog buut it is the steam off the furnace outside. I had the light from a spot light about 8 feet away.

I cropped and enhanced the rainbow in the fog. Please I need to know if I'm doing it right or not , thanks

Looks like something I would find on a paranormal site...

I like the idea, but it sharpness and seems overly noisey. Did you try running this through Neat Image?

Steam = water.
White light from the spot contains the whole spectrum of light radiation , therefore , all the colors are there. The droplets of water in the steam are probably just refracting the light and splitting it out into its color spectrum , just like water in the atmosphere splits light out to form a rainbow.
Bad explanation ... too many years since physics class , but I hope you get the drift.

The top three are raw takes the bottom three I enhanced the sharpnees

It's light refracting through the water vapor.
Pretty cool though.
