Well, I had gotten some requests to take some insect shots with my Dreb, so I went huntin today. I was able to snap these pictures.

Impressive, no2 being my pick. I've recently started shooting macro using ext. tubes.
What lens/gear did you use here.

I appreciate the compliment. Currently, I am using a Canon Digital Rebel 300D with kit lens to take those shots. Most of the some 120 pictures I took today were taken on the fully automatic setting with auto-focus on. There were a few where I used the Program setting and Manual focus.

I like #2 as well. I think seeing the "face" of the bug always makes a huge difference. Nice shots.

you must have been thrilled that you got them as good as this
they really came out large
I know in the last shot the bee is blurry , but the petals of the daisy are unusual and really lovely around the bee
