Anyone that does studio shots etc, can you provide a little input?

Here is how I shot these.

2 JTL Versalight's w/silver umbrella at a 45deg from camera. (I tried to get them at least 20ft away but space was limited.

mostly they were shot @ f4 1/200 iso 100


any sugestions? softbox vs umbrella vs no flash vs I dont know anything

Not sure if you were going for something different than you got but these are well lit portraits.

The lighting looks good.

I would use a photo editor to take the double reflection out of the eyes.

The first one is wonderful.

It would be more normal to keep one of the lights within 20 degrees or so, the second fill light can then be moved around a bit more. Its also normal to set the lights slightly above the subject. The only real rules though is to experiment.
