Does anyone know where can I download a printable user manual for Canon 10D?
there's one at the Canon website that I can download, but can't print out.

Is there a reason that you can't print it out?

The file is in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. There are free Acrobat Reader applications all over the web. Get one of those and then open the file and print it.

yes, I have the latest vesion of Acrobat Reader, I can open the file and read it, but it won't let me print, error message "The document can not be printed"

The normal English version that has been available for a long time prints easily. It is possible that you have some local problem. Maybe the file is corrupted in the download.

If that happened to me, then I would do the following:
(1) Re-download my Acrobat and install it.
(2) Test it on some other normal PDF file.
(3) Re-download my Canon PDF file.
(4) Try to print it again.

I had the same problem yesterday, I'm running adobe 6.? and it wouldn't even download for me, never mind get it to print. It would open up adobe start the download say it was finished than give my an error message, I think it's at canons end, wouldn't even let my download the brochure, never had a problem with adobe before.

I think you are trying to "open the file" while it is still at Canon's web site and then print it from there. Although that may be possible, it often gets bad results. Instead, download the file to your own computer's hard disk (which does not require any Adobe app to do). Then, once it is safely on the hard disk, you can open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

I have Acrobat Reader 6 and I can print the 10D manual just fine. I just tried it and I was able to send the file to the printer. My 10D manual was downloaded some time last year to my harddrive so if you guys can't print it and it's a newer download (barring any problem on your end) it could be that Canon may have updated the file to be non-printable. I've heard of other people having the watermark "Copy" placed on each page of their PDF.

Yup! got it to work, saved it to the hard drive and then printed it from there works fiine. Just couldn't print it direct. :lol: :lol:
