The Canon website does not list WindowsXP Home Edition as support for their digital products. After spending many hours 'shopping' I decided on the G2 but this has me concerned. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank You, Mecki

I have Windows XP Pro and have installed all the software from my camera but use the windows camera and scanner wizard for downloading. It works great. No problems at all. Xp is a very good as it has most drivers for popular products.
If you have not bought your G2 yet, I say go ahead.

I also use Windows XP with no problems. FYI - I use the Zoombrowser software that came with my G2 and use a card reader to download from so I don't have to fiddle around with camera cables.

Thankyou Colin!
I appreciate the response and will now buy my G2 with confidence. Any thoughts on internet purchase? I've seen it for $574.99
Thanks again, Mecki
