I dont get it. It's semi out of focus, waaaayyy to close up, and just seems like itd be an awkward shot. But it turned out to be one of my favorites of the day. Let me know your guy's Opinions on it.

I like it because it appears to be an "oh crap" moment.

No, its a completely controlled style. Check out a few other guys pulling it off in my other post.

Haha, Noooo. I was using a 70-300mm lens. If you look at my other post and go to the 2nd to last shot of the guy on the honda (red Bike) you can see the four poles on the left hand side. That is the stand i was standing on when i took it.

I know you weren't truly in danger, but the picture makes it look that way. That's why I like it.

i just guess it proves a good picture is just a good picture! and that is a very good picture... i think the ill-focus makes it easier on the eye to see that it is an action shot and makes the background come forward in importance, when i first saw that picture, i went 'whoa!' strange angle, and it leaves you open to so many questions... "how high off the ground is that?" a though provoking picture. AWESOME!

Its an interesting POV. To be honest I think what makes it is the fack that you've got the knobbies showing, and the YAMI logo dead centre in the shot. That fact that you got the shot at that angle means the rider was kicking it out. A good capture of skill.

I really like the shot. I think it's great because it's an angle you don't normally get. I took some shots of a softball game yesterday and the same old angles get boring after about 3 frames. You have to throw something in the mix to keep it interesting. It would be a good addition to a feature, and is also a good candidate for some sort of editing/logo goodness. Kudos.
