sorry, i know this is way overplayed (almost as much as HDR), but i think i got sort of close to it with this pic.
it is like a mix b/w dave hill and a really bad hdr.... tell me what you think

i think it has a very cartoony look to it, not too much dave hill style, though its exemplified contrastyness. HOWEVER! despite that it MAY NOT be dave hill style, I STILL think it is a very good job on the PP and i LOVE the effect of the WA that you used, great overall picture!

would be better with more of an angle

would be better with more of an angle I kind of like it, but would like to see more of the bus, too. And I'd prefer to not see it pushing the right margin of the pic, too.

I like it. Some people do not like this look...but I think with the appropriate subject matter almost any style of PP can be used correctly. The bus, its design and graphics, really work well with this look.
I agree that showing more of the side of the bus would look great. The effect on the bus, with its graphics, and the detail of the parking lots texture makes this shot.
Quick question, did you use Lucis Art for PP?

pretty nice actually .. only thing is the front windshield is a bit busy with too many reflections going on. a polarizer couldve helped?

The composition is a little off, this was just a snap shot :o
wanted to try the post processing technique on this.

thanks, and no this is not lucis art (i have photoshop, not paying for another graphics program lol)... this was actually a crazy method of editing that has to do with the raw processing (i'll elaborate if anyone really cares haha).

i purposely did that (looked really cool in the viewfinder ) even though i had a polarizer switched to the minimum setting, but with this editing style, i think its a little distracting. thanks tho :)

When processing the RAW, set:
Recovery - 100
Fill - 100
Contrast - 100
Clarity - 100
Vibrance - 100
Lower Saturation
Adjust the blacks to make the image look better (looks awful until this point).
