Had yet another enjoyable day at Croft watching some rather pretty classic cars undertale trials around the track.

What was nice is that the organisers were faily relaxed and you could be faily much anywhere you wanted to take photos.

I took advantage of this but remained behind the armco next to the rally cross circuit where there was a nice water splash

So here are the photos, names and car details to follow once I get back home to check the entry list:

1) Simon Pearson and Nick Cooper - Austine Healy Sprite Looks a bit like a Midget to me

2) David Marsden and Mike Garstang - For Cortina MKI

3) John Park and Roland Bainbridge - MKI (Frogeye) Sprite. Had a chat with guys as I was leaving, seems they were having a wale of a time

4) Adrian Stewart and Tom Hind - Austin Cooper S. I still have a soft spot for these cars

5) Aidan and Mike Rushby - It says Sunbeam Talbot but it looks more like an Alpine to me

6) Paul Wignall and Paul Bosdet - Alfa Giulietta Sprint Veloce

7) Charles Graves and Ron Palmer - Jag XK150. What a fantastic car

What a fine collection of classic tin! The sideways Jag is my favourite from this group. All very nice though.

Lovely shots there Peter that old 300 2.8 IS isn't bad for a cheap lens is it? ;)

The lack of helmets has made for some great expressions on the Crew's faces and like yourself i really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere which seemed to be a case of Use your common sense. Obviously it wouldn't work for many other meetings but it was enjoyable anyway.

Superb shots, Sunbeam Talbot/Alpine is great

They must have been freezing the bits off in those topless classics:lol:

I wish I had gone to this now, if only I'd known that Jag was going to be there...

The Talbot and the Jag shots are my favourites of the bunch but you have captured a great selection. There is something just so "right" about seeing that big lump of a Jag being thrown around. :)

Great collection of shots - Alfa is my favourite as it looks like it's being thrown rather sideways.

Cheers.

The pick of this selection is definately the XK150. I would be very proud of that shot if I were you.

Cheers,

Simon

They are all great but the mini is special. Are there any modern cars with a 'face'?
