I am shooting a wedding in August. I will be having to go to the church...take pics of bride/groom and the wedding party (so i will be taking my lights), then im taking pics during the wedding as well. My question is...how much should i charge for a base price...i have taken pics for about 4 weddings...all turned out very well, but didnt charge a lot since i had just started doing them and one of them was my little sisters and i didnt charge her anything. I have two weddings coming up i need to shoot so i really need to figure something out? anyone have an idea?? what do you guys usually charge?

thanks

There are many factors that go into what price you charge for a wedding.
I've seen prices vary from say $1200 to $5000 for example.

Some that I would consider are...

How good are you/How much experience you have.
Hours of coverage
How many shots? limited or unlimited?
What's included in your price? just proofs? albums? prints?
geographic location- what do local wedding photogs charge? what's the market like?

I'm not yet a wedding photog, so I can't answer those questions for you, but those are certainly things I would think about when setting prices.
