Canon PS S30...Images downloaded are dark on PC...

I'm so glad I found you all! Need help. The camera takes decent pictures, but when I download them into Zoombrowser they are really dark and almost discolored. They look fine on playback on the camera and when I get pix printed from card.

Any thoughts?

What do other images look like on your monitor?

As monitors age they get darker and darker, I know of one that is so dark its almost unuseable and no amount of settings adjustments and calibration will fix it.

you need to revome any color profiles on your monitor and set it back to default settings.

I agree that my monitor's display is a little dark, but some pictures look fine but others are really off color or dark.

But I'll try anything...how do I reset the original settings? or find the profiles or whatever?

it varys monitor to monitor, and os to os. im like 99% sure this is your problem though. it happened to me.
