I need some info on a new flash

hi im looking to purchase a couple of flash units im looking for something that serves as a light as well as a flash i currently have a 580 ex II but it doesn't serve as a light any recommendations on what flashes have both uses thanks.

im looking for a flash unit that can be used as a flash lite per say and also a flash

Continuous lighting and flash require completely different technology. There are some high end flash units ($1,000) that have optional modeling lights. Also most studio strobes have modeling lights but they aren't the kind of thing you can mount on a camera.
