PLEASE HELP! I just got my 20D today and I can't seem to grab any images from my camera to my MAC in OS 9 (Classic Mode) or in OSX. The camera shows up in the EOS Viewer utility, but when I launch the EOS capture the camera is no longer available to choose. I'm very confused. I am going to buy a card reader so I may be on my way to the local Best Buy tonight to make a purchase. Any help with this is appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

Try opening "Image Capture" (It's in your Applications folder in OS X.) See if image capture can see your cam.

That worked well. Thanks for the tip. Maybe if I had read my manual a little further I would have seen that! Man this camera is incredible! My wife is going to be sick of it very soon I'm afraid. Thanks again for the tip.

image capture, iphoto, the canon FVU, Photoshop with file browser.. and a lot more just to get the picture off a camera or card. all of these work in OS X, i think you will have a hard time finding software for OS 9 that is current

You still need to get a card reader. I suggest the Sandisk Firewire card reader unless your mac has USB 2.0 (Latest Power Macs have USB 2.) You can get the Sandisk FW reader from Amazon.com.
