I recently had the chance to shoot bits and pieces of high school football, at night no less, which is a chore. That brings my grand total of grid shooting to three quarters!
The following was taken with a "potato masher" wide open at an f-stop of 5.6 and 350 shutter with a D10 and 300mm.
