I lost my instruction manual of the NC-E2 battery charger that come with the 1D Mark II.
Any one can help?
Please explain the function fo the refresh button, how to use it, the meaning of that LED light colour and how long it need to refresh the battery?.

I have the instruction sheet. (not manual) It's one of the fold-up multi-language things.
The button is to "refresh" the battery. If you press it, the battery will be completely discharged before charging. This is to keep the battery from developing 'memory' and not accepting a full charge. Caution....if you're in a hurry, it can take as long as 8 1/2 hourse for the the refresh to complete, and then you have to wait for the battery to charge. This is one of those things that's best done while you sleep.
The LED is orange during the refresh cycle, red while charging, and flashing red (twice per second) when fully charged.
I'm getting ready to leave town for a couple days, but if you're unable to find your copy, I'll be happy to scan the directions and email them to you in PDF form when I return.
Hopefully you'll find yours by then.

Yep. We're waiting for a FedEx delivery (Papers, not photo gear) that was supposed to be here at 10:00. As soon as they arriive, we're out the door until Tue/Wed, but I'll certainly do it when we get back.
