I suppose it will be a Digic III chip and then it will make the 40D looks a bit overpriced for what it does....

but then there is the 50D rumor.....

glad that I had offloaded my 40D in Germany last X'mas.

I'd rather have a 40d than a 400d anyday... it's just to small for my hands and the viewfinder sucks.

40D has the Digic III chip! 50D won't happen for a year!

It'll be a digic III chip, and it won't make the 40D look overpriced for what it is.

Ah yes. the grip of that Rebel-class of DSLR.

Sure, the 40D is a very solid camera and will not hesitate to get me another unit...
