In August this year I will be heading up the organisation of a tour in the North of England for 50 members of the Westfield Sports Car Club (WSCC).
For the last 6 years we have run a Coast2Coast tour with great success, over 150 people applied for a place in 2006. This year we're doing a new route and we expect that we will easily fill the 50 places.
I can't give specifics out about the route but we're planning to run the event on the 2nd and 3rd of Auguts. Everything is subject to route approval from the MSA in a few weeks time. After which I will be inviting club members to apply for a place and I can relase some route information.
As I am organising AND taking part I dont get much chance to take photos of the event and so I would like to offer the opportunity to POTN members to take some shots either en-route or at one of our stop off points.
There will be an opportunity to sell your shots through carcapture but I can't promise a take-up as it's been very sketchy in the past when we've done official shots and DVD's. However, if one or two people are REALLY keen to cover the event as a whole then I might be able to procure services out of the tour marketing budget. Otherwise this will be a great opportunity to capture a load of well turned out vehicles and is gauranteed to be the biggest gathering of these vehicles outside the kit car show cuircuit.
