Well, what'cha think? I am not sure if the two fork shaped plants need to go. Either way, decent shot?

The ripples make me go crosseyed! Nice reflections though.

Hi Radtech1

Since your ship - ehh, image - is out of harbour, I played a little with it and hope you don't mind. I live near a lake and have worked the subject as well.

I feel that there are too many points of interest. If so, the obvious reaction is cropping, ie. narrowing the angle and thereby making it another pictue than yours.

Now the sun-lit area is about at thirds from left and top. The LLC with the solid ground and vegetation is omitted, and consequently the remains of one of the plants have been cloned out. And part of the sky is omitted too, further simplifying the whole.

Then I fiddled a little with curves, manily to get more detail in the green belt. Finally some sharpening, emphasizing the ripples too.

Just my 2 cents :)

It's beautiful scenery, but like flowe mentioned... there are too many points of interest. Also (as flowe mentioned), the greenery along the lakes edge is too dark and is a distraction.

Rad,

I would leave it mostly as is. Perhaps crop out some of the foreground for more emphasis on the distant shoreline and horizon, which appears to be the major point of interest.
