I purchased a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 Di XR lens from B & H on the Sept. 20th. I discovered on the 2nd. of Oct. that the lens has a serious problem. Using this lens on my 300D produces very sharp images until you use an f/stop higher than f/10. F/11 starts to show a very small amount of fuzziness in the center of the image. This continues to increase as the f/number gets higher. At f/32 the center of the image looks like frosted glass, but the rest of the image is sharp as a tack! As you probably know B & H is closed until tomorrow, at which time I will be contacting them. In the meantime I thought I would see if anyone else has had a similar problem with this otherwise highly rated lens. :?:

I haven't had any trouble with mine - it has been tack sharp at all aperatures, including wide open. Sorry to hear about your troubles - hope all goes well with an exchange or repair.
