Hmmmm, not seeing too much of the musicians over here. There are a lot of other things that are a bit distracting in some, and in some others they are more like a dark spot somewhere in the stage light.

Would have cropped #6 a lot closer (to get rid of some of the space upper/right/down side).

Favourite is definitely #3 (because it's all about the musician over there).

nice shots. Do you happen to post on the B9 board?

Concert lighting = take what you can get

...which is often hellacious backlighting ;)

These pics are hot... I like the fact that you got the guitar heads in and even his hand in #3... These pics convey a lot of action... Very nice set and composition...

I know, I know... But I was more talking about the difference between both series you've posted... You've shot some wonderful portraits at Every Time I Die and I don't see you doing that over here too (except for #4).

Lol, they're not mine...I'm just his stunt double. :D;)

You have to love the lighting they have at Piere's.. since it's a "Million Dollar Light Stage." And Damn good shows for such a small place.

Oh, great pictures and I am so jealous! I missed them! Pieres is not far from me at all, less than an hour.

Yea, Drew is my homeboy!

The lighting was completely different between the ETID and Killswitch sets, basically. The stage shots kinda show what I was working with. Most shots looked like there was a bomb going off behind the band:

I Really like 1, but the bottom of the image really bothers me, i have no idea why though.

Nice set, cruddy lighting for a big well known band.

...Whoops, I thought jtfdzn made the comment on the stage light ;)

But then again, not changing my opinion; I like jtfdzn's way of photographing in that other series better

Some nice timing.
Some odd crops and exposure.

i think it's a good set. the biggest issue i have are those blue hotspots in 2, which i would clone out.

These look like you added contrast and vignetting, neither of which appeal to me. But the timing of the captures is marvelous with huge energy Nice work.

I'm not super pleased with this set, there was a ton of backlighting and loads of smoke, so I had to bump up the black clip to get the figures to show up, which tends to vingette the edges. I didn't purposely add the vingettes though...

Thanks for the comments, everyone...
