Digital photo lab processing

Up until now I have been printing my own digital prints but I would like to know if the photo labs do any corrections to the prints they make from digital fies?
I don't know if i'm making myself clear, when I was shooting 2 1/4 sq. the lab analyzed each negative and made necessary corrections.

I use Colab in the UK. I FTP the files to them and they print if you opt for no colour correction you get exactly what you send them.

Thanks for the reply Neil, do you normally opt for the color correction?

I never opt for colour correction. I have a calibrated monitor and I really do get back exactly what I send them.
