No idea what either of these tiny bugs are.
Particularly intrigued with #1. Approx 2-3mm long.

Excellent shots of some interesting critters.
ID? No longer should you categorize these as "unknown"
as I can confirm with absolute certainty that indeed, these are bugs :)

Cheers. You're right - I did a quick job on the first as I was only after an ID - should have spent a bit more time PP ing. Slightly improved version linked to my flickr macro section below:

Lovely captures.
#1 is a leaf hopper nymph I think.
#2 looks to be a rather nice Ichneumon wasp

Looking at Ichneumon wasps now in my book.
Leaf hopper description in the book seems spot on too. (I was looking at leaf hoppers, leaf rollers and toad bugs)

Great captures I agree with Brian (LordV) #2 definitely seems to be some sort of Ichneumon wasp, beautiful markings
