Sorry, no "Victoria Secret" shots. But the subject line fits.

More scenery from Wyoming. I still have 1400 shots to mull over so this may take a while. In any event, we are now in the canyon behind the ranch (http://www.eatonsranch.com/). This is a very real representation of what it looked like. All that I had to do was lighten the trees in the forground (they were almost black, in a cloud's shadow) and nudge the saturation a bit.

I bought a 19mm lens for this trip so I am still quite the novice with scenery shots. Personally, I like the contrasting colors, but the "liking" as also mingled with the fact of being there.

What do you think?

The easy critique is that branch sticking in the left edge is a bit distracting... that's easy to fix though. The composition works pretty well in my opinion.

I really like this shot. I realize it's Wyoming, but it reminds me of when I lived in Arizona.

What I like is the complementary colors of blue and orange. They work very well together. Did you use a polarizer?

I'm looking at your pic Rad and trying to wrap my brain around what it is about it that doesn't work for me---the colors are fabulous; great landscape; the branch in the upper left has to go, but there is something not quite there....my eye gets stuck on the ridge between earth and sky. Don't know if you need less sky or less green trees...you might want to try playing around with different crops and see what you come up with.....
