I was on my way to a meeting when I called in to this church - known locally as the marble chruch.

Interestingly the graveyard contains the bodies of 30 or so Canadian soldiers who died during WWI. It is claimed that they all died of disease - but also claimed in some quarters that they were shot during a revolt!

Well done. My pick of a nice litter is "the Pews".
I have a weak spot for any "noose of light", and you have given me one here! It adds so much warmth and I know how stark and cold these interiors can be (having done a few "rubbings" in my time).
A bit of distortion. What lens did you use?

I use an Ixus 330 (S330) so I just have the lens that is attached to that! :o)
Having had that camera for a month I am now realising its limitations.

Damian,
I like gothic architecture and enjoyed your gallery. I agree with Howie that the light touching the church pews is very nice, and thats my favorite image of your bunch. Thanks for sharing once again.
